Questions we hear every day
No. HealthyPath's weight loss program is entirely cash-pay. Your membership fee covers clinical visits, monitoring, and bundled labs. Medication costs are separate — we will always walk you through the most affordable options, including manufacturer savings programs and our compounded medication path.
Enroll in any plan, complete your online questionnaire, and meet with a licensed NP or PA for your free initial assessment via video visit. After reviewing your health history and baseline labs, your provider can prescribe semaglutide (Wegovy) or tirzepatide (Zepbound) if clinically appropriate.
Branded medications (Wegovy, Zepbound, Ozempic) are FDA-approved, manufactured by Novo Nordisk or Eli Lilly, and purchased through manufacturer savings programs. Compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide is prepared by a licensed 503A/503B pharmacy using the same active ingredient at a lower monthly cost, but the finished compounded product itself is not FDA-approved.
For most things, no — your care happens entirely via video visit. We do ask that you get an initial blood draw before medications are started, which you can complete at any nearby LabCorp location. After that, lab draws are needed every 6 months for monitoring.
Generally, you may be eligible if you have a BMI of 30 or higher, or a BMI of 27 or higher with at least one weight-related health condition such as high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol. Your provider will confirm eligibility and review any contraindications during your first visit.
Yes, at any time. You can move between Pay-As-You-Go, Gold, and Platinum once you're ready for ongoing care, switch your medication from compounded to branded (or the reverse), or pause your membership for up to 60 days. Changes take effect at your next billing cycle.
